Handitracker uses a modified handicap system, based on the USGA's handicap formula, to keep track of golfers' handicaps. The handicap formula used by this website should be used for record keeping purposes only. The USGA requires a golf pro to verify all scores included in a golfer's official USGA handicap. Although handitracker uses the actual USGA formula to calculate your golf handicap, this handicap should not be used in golf tournaments. The official USGA handicap system should be used in competitive play.
